NPFL: Rangers boss Ilechukwu wary of ‘strong team’ El-Kanemi Warriors

Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, is anticipating a difficult test against El-Kanemi Warriors, DAILY POST reports.

The holders will begin their title defence against Aliyu Zubairu’s side at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on Saturday (today).

The Coal City club are favourites to nick maximum points from the game going by the gulf in class between both teams.

Rangers have defeated El-Kanemi Warriors in their last nine league meetings, scoring 16 goals without conceding.

Ilechukwu, however, said the Maiduguri will be a tough nut to crack.

“It’s going to be a very tough match for both teams. El-Kanemi have a very strong team. I watched their games on the continent and you’d agree with me that they have a very strong team. We have our game plan,” the gaffer was quoted by the npfl.com.ng.
