Evans Ogbonda has inked a new two-year contract with the former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Rangers.

Ogbonda joined the Flying Antelopes from Bendel Insurance in 2024.

He featured regularly for Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side last season.

The 22-year-old’s contract extension will help boost the team’s performance last season.

Rangers are expected to strengthen their squad with more quality signings before the commencement of the new season.

The 2025/26 season will start on Friday, 22 August.
