NPFL: Niger Tornadoes coach Mohammed charges players ahead of Nasarawa United clash

Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed has urged his players to rise to the occasion in their opening fixture of the season against Nasarawa United.

The Ikon Allah Boys will face Nasarawa United at their temporary home ground in Ilorin on Wednesday.

Mohammed noted that his players are aware of the supporters’ expectations ahead of the clash.

“We are not happy that this game is going to be decided outside our home venue,” Mohammed stated in a pre-match interview.

“But nonetheless, we are used to playing home games away from home, so this is not any different and we are going to approach it like any other game.”

Both teams played out a goalless draw in the same fixture last season.
