NPFL: Kun Khalifat FC announce resumption date for new season

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Kun Khalifat FC have announced Monday, July 28, as the resumption date for the 2025–26 season.

The club made the announcement in a statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, players and officials of the club are expected to resume on the above-mentioned date for preparations ahead of the new season.

Kun Khalifat FC will be participating in the NPFL for the first time in their history after securing qualification from the Nigeria National League, NNL Super Eight Playoffs.

The modest side, alongside Wikki Tourists, Barau FC, and Warri Wolves, gained promotion from the NNL.

The 2025–26 NNL season will commence on Friday, August 22.
