NPFL: Katsina United start screening exercise to discover new players
Katsina United have commenced a screening exercise to select new players for the team ahead of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The exercise, which is expected to run for seven days, started on Thursday at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
A total number of 41 players turned up for the exercise which was supervised by the club’s technical department.
Some of the selected players from the exercise will be placed in different categories ranging from the club’s Junior Team, U-23 and the U-20 teams respectively.
Katsina United have resumed preparation for the upcoming season with retained players from the last campaign.
The Chanji Boys managed to escape relegation last term finishing in 15th position.
