Nigeria National League, NNL, side Heartland have warned Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Enyimba against unprofessional attempts to lure players from their team.

The Naze Millionaires sounded the warning in a press release signed by the team’s technical adviser, Emmanuel Amuneke.

The release stated that the trio of Christian Molokwu, John Bassey, Kelvin Oguga and Samuel Agu are currently training with Enyimba without the approval of Heartland.

Heartland described the action as unethical, unprofessional and damaging to the integrity of Nigerian football.

The Owerri club threatened to escalate the matter to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and the relevant Football authorities.

Part of the statement reads, “Heartland wish to publicly address and warn Enyimba and others in an attempt to unprofessional lure of players from our squad to desist from that act henceforth.

“Heartland will not hesistate to report to relevant Football governing body and the NFF.”
