Toyeeb Gidado has written a farewell message to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Ikorodu City.

Gidado leaves the Oga Boys after three years at the club.

The midfielder is close to securing a move to Kwara United ahead of the 2025–26 season.

He played a key role in Ikorodu City’s promotion to the NPFL in 2023.

“Dear Ikorodu City FC, it’s been an interesting 3 seasons together filled with joy, happiness, tough and memorable moments,” Gidado stated in his farewell note.

“The experience garnered with the team in the last 3 seasons has shaped whom I have become and the memories will remain with me forever.”
