NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors extend unbeaten run after home draw vs Kwara Utd
El-Kanemi Warriors extended their unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, after holding Kwara United to a 1-1 draw in Maiduguri on Wednesday.
Emmanuel Ogbole gave Kwara United the lead from the spot in the 67th minute.
The home team, however, equalised through Risilanu Ismaili deep into stoppage time.
El-Kanemi Warriors moved to fifth position on the table following the hard-earned draw.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side will be away to Rivers United in their next game on Sunday.
Kwara United, in 11th position, will entertain defending champions Rangers in Ilorin on Sunday.
