NPFL: Draw against Sunshine Stars was tough – Abia Warriors boss, Imama

Abia Warriors head coach, Imama Amakpakabo has described his team’s draw against Sunshine Stars as tough.

The Umuahia-based club played out a 0-0 draw with Sunshine Stars at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Sunday.

Amakpakabo commended his players for maintaining discipline throughout the game.

“Another point on the road, tough as it is,” he told Abia Warriors media.

“I think we were able to keep our heads and organisation throughout the game.

“We have to go back and work on how to convert most of the chances we have been creating.”
