NPFL: Bayelsa United rues home draw against Enyimba

Bayelsa United have called for patience from the club supporters following the stalemate against Enyimba in Yenagoa.

The Prosperity Boys were held to a 1-1 draw by Enyimba at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa on Sunday.

Ekene Awazie cancelled out Magbisa Wisdom’s early strike for Bayelsa United in the game.

Bayelsa United stayed that it wasn’t the result the team planned for from the game.

“It’s not the result we wanted against the People’s Elephant,” Bayelsa United wrote on X after the game.

“We urge you all to be patient with us; the setback is temporary.”

Bayelsa United currently occupy 18th position on the log with 10 points.
