NPFL: Barau FC will improve from slow start – Bosso

Barau FC technical adviser, Ladan Bosso, is optimistic his team will bounce back from their slow start to the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

The Maliya Boys have recorded two draws and one defeat, from three games leaving them 17th on the NPFL table.

Bosso admitted that his team is vulnerable upfront but that he will work on the weakness.

“As it is, every team in the league, we are looking for a good striker. If there is any that is without a club that means he isn’t good enough but I will try to bring out the best from what I have on ground.” Bosso told the club’s media.

Barau FC have struggled to find the back of the net, managing only one goal in three NPFL matches.

They will face Ikorodu City in a matchday four fixture in Lagos on Sunday.
