NPFL: Aweroro appointed Shooting Stars head coach

Shooting Stars have announced the appointment of Nurudeen Aweroro as their new head coach.

Aweroro takes over from Gbenga Ogunbote, who was sacked by the club’s management this week.

The young tactician left his role at Ikorodu City to take charge of the Oluyole Warriors.

The tactician guided Ikorodu City to fourth position in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.

Aweroro took charge of the Oga Boys midway through the season following the sacking of  Mike Ozegbage.

He is a CAF licensed coach  with experience from Remo Stars, and  MFM FC.
