NPFL: Amapakabo not leaving Abia Warriors – Official

Abia Warriors have insisted that Technical Adviser, Imama Amapakabo, will remain at the club for the 2025–26 season.

It would be recalled that Coach Amapakabo was reportedly linked with a move to Kano Pillars.

Abia Warriors confirmed that the experienced tactician was poached by the Sai Masu Gida.

“He’s with us. He didn’t join Kano Pillars as alleged,” Abia Warriors Media Director, Solomon Igwe, told DAILY POST.

“No rancour whatsoever. It was Kano Pillars that went behind to poach. But it’s all in the past now. We move.”

DAILY POST reports that Amapakabo is currently preparing the Umuahia-based club for the upcoming season.
