NPFL: Adegun thumbs up new Plateau United captain Hilary

Plateau United technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun, has reacted to the appointment of Albert Hilary as the captain of the club.

Adegun believes that Hilary embodies all the characteristics of leading the players.

Albert took over the leadership role from Daniel Itodo, who left the club for Rangers after 12 years.

“They see how Hilary brings them together, how he communicates, and of course, being a son of the soil who understands what this club means, he embodies Plateau United. That’s why they’ve trusted him with this responsibility,” coach Adegun explained.

Hilary has been with the former NPFL champions since 2020.

He netted 12 goals in 24 appearances during the 2023–24 NPFL season.
