No sense hating Tinubu – Sam Amadi
Former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, Sam Amadi, has cautioned against personal hatred for President Bola Tinubu.
Amadi urged critics to instead focus on Tinubu’s politics and policies.
In a post on X on Tuesday, Amadi said there was no point demonizing Tinubu as an individual only to replace him with someone equally flawed in governance.
He noted that the same mistake was made during the opposition against former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Amadi stressed that what is rational and honest is to reject Tinubu’s style of politics and push for a leader fundamentally different from him.
He said: “There is no sense in hating Tinubu as a person and bringing someone who is as heinous in politics and governance as him. That is what we did against @GEJonathan
“Hate Tinubu’s politics & polices and bring someone who is very different from him. That is what is rational & honest.”
