NNPCL Reports N4.4 trillion Revenue for July, down from June Figures
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) posted a revenue of N4.406 trillion for July 2025, slightly below the N4.571 trillion recorded in June, according to its latest monthly report.
The company’s profit after tax plunged by 79.6%, falling from N905 billion in June to N185 billion in July. Despite this decline, NNPCL’s contribution to the federation remained significant, with statutory remittances totalling N7.97 trillion between January and June 2025.
“All production, sales, and financial figures are provisional and subject to reconciliation with relevant stakeholders,” the report stated.
Crude oil and condensate output increased marginally to 1.70 million barrels per day (bpd) from 1.68 million bpd in June. Natural gas production also rose, reaching 7,722 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) from 7,581 mmscf/d.
Gas sales climbed to 4,978 mmscf/d compared to 4,742 mmscf/d the previous month, while crude oil and condensate sales surged to 25.49 million barrels from 21.68 million barrels.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to “sustain crude oil and condensate production, improve uptime of production facilities, continue stakeholders’ collaboration and operational efficiency.”
On infrastructure projects, NNPCL disclosed that additional subcontractors have been mobilised to accelerate work on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline and ensure timely completion. For the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline, a revised strategy has been implemented to fast-track the River Niger Crossing section. The already commissioned 113 km segment now delivers approximately 300 mmscf/d from major suppliers, including AHL, Platform, Chorus, and Xenergi.
OPEC data showed Nigeria’s daily crude output averaged 1.507 million bpd in July, surpassing the country’s target for the second consecutive month.
