Paul Offor is set to be named new head coach of the Nigeria National League, NNL side Akwa United.

According to reports, Offor is currently in Uyo to finalise the deal.

Offor is reported to be keen on the vacant position after his resignation from Nationwide League One, NLO side, Grassrunners FC.

He is the clear favorite for the position following the resignation of Kennedy Boboye.

DAILY POST recalls that Offor came to prominence after guiding Sporting Lagos to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL in 2023.

Offor was sacked the following season, and was replaced by Abdullahi Biffo.
