Nigerian Army not recruiting now, warns fraudaters to keep off

The Nigerian Army has denied social media reports that it is recruiting applicants into the 90 regular intake.

Captain AU Hammanga, Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Directorate of Recruitment, in a statement on Saturday, described the social media reports and advertisement of recruitment as false, misleading and should be disregarded in its entirety.

The statement appealed to applicants seeking recruitment to ignore the vacancy advertisement and wait for official announcements for recruitment, adding that the Nigerian Army maintains a clean and clear website

The statement warned fraudsters who are bent on deceiving applicants to desist or have themselves to be blame.

The Nigeria Army promised to remain committed to transparency and professionalism in all recruitment processes and strongly cautioned the public against falling prey to fraudsters.
