The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Board of Trustees, BoT, Chairman, Adolphus Wabara, on Monday, said Nigeria is bleeding.

Wabara disclosed that suffering Nigerians are looking unto the PDP for succour and restoration of their hope.

He spoke during PDP’s BoT meeting at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Monday.

Represented by Ahmed Makarfi, Wabara said the sufferings of Nigerians should inspire the PDP to give its best in the interest of Nigerians.

He also urged all aggrieved members to toe the path of reconciliation.

Wabara said: “Our country is bleeding. The masses are suffering. They look unto the PDP to bring succor, to restore hope and to offer leadership that heals.

“This burden of expectation should inspire us to give our best and even more for the sake of our nation.

“Today, as elders of the party, we must extend a hand of the new reconciliation. This does not mean abandoning our principles.

“Rather, it means applying wisdom and flexibility how we enforce our rules.”
