Natasha Files Sexual Harassment Petition Against Akpabio At Plenary

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has formally submitted a petition to the Senate, accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.
This move comes after she initially made the allegations during an interview on Arise TV.
Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, presented her petition under Order 40 of the Senate Rules.
The development follows her recent filing of a ₦100bn defamation lawsuit against Akpabio, alleging that he made defamatory statements about her.
The lawsuit claims that Akpabio’s statements, which implied that Akpoti-Uduaghan believed being a lawmaker was merely about her physical appearance, were damaging to her reputation.
