Methodist Youths Hail Abia Poly Rector On Education Award

The Methodist Youth Fellowship has congratulated the Rector of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic (formerly Abia State Polytechnic), Aba, Dr. Christopher Kalu Okoro, on his recent award.
Dr. Okoro received THE INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP IN HIGHER EDUCATION AWARD at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
In a statement, signed by the President, Hon Micheal Ezeh; the Secretary, Emmanuel Anyalewechi; and the Coordinator, Adeleke Kehinde Enoch, the Methodist Youth Fellowship described Dr. Okoro’s award as “well-deserved recognition of his outstanding leadership and contribution to education.”
The group praised Dr. Okoro’s commitment to educating young people, noting his support for the youths in their fellowship.
“Your immense contribution to the youths in our fellowship has been invaluable, and we appreciate your support.
“As Rector of Dr Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba, one can also see a deep commitment to transform the polytechnic into a world-class centre of excellence. Your vision and leadership have motivated millions of young people to think positively about school and career paths,” the statement read.
