Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha names his GOAT
Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha has named Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi as his GOAT (Greatest Player of All Time).
“Lionel Messi is my inspiration, he is the GOAT,” Ngumoha said as quoted by TouchlineX.
“He thinks quicker than the rest while no one can get the ball off him.”
Ngumoha has been impressive for Liverpool so far this pre‑season.
The 16‑year‑old winger scored a goal and provided an assist in Liverpool’s 4‑1 friendly win against Athletic Club yesterday.
It remains to be seen if Ngumoha will get regular playing time under Liverpool manager Arne Slot when the new season begins later this month.
