Liverpool Play Bournemouth In Title Defence, Man United Host Arsenal In EPL Opener

Liverpool will open the 2025-26 Premier League season with a clash against Bournemouth at Anfield while Manchester United will take on Arsenal at Old Trafford on the opening weekend.
The 2025-26 will kick off on Friday, August 15 with Liverpool in action against Bournemouth while the other matches will be held on Saturday, and Sunday.
The pick of the bunch in the first week is the clash between Manchester United, and Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 17.
In the other fixtures, Man City will make a trip to the Midlands to take on Wolves, Aston Villa will take on Newcastle United in the early kickoff on Saturday, Brighton will host Fulham, Europa League champions, Tottenham will be in action against Burnley.
Chelsea will host Crystal Palace in the first match on Sunday before Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford later in the day.
On Monday night, Newly-promoted Leeds United will slug it out with Everton at Elland Road.
The Premier League confirmed that no top-flight club will be requested to play twice in fewer than 48 hours between December 27, and December 30, when another full round of games will be held.
Each club has a home match on either December 27 or January 3, with travel reduced on December 27 and December 30.
The 2025/26 Premier League season will start on Friday August 15 and conclude on Sunday May 24 2026.
