Leicester City Turn Down €7 Million Bid To Sign Super Eagles Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

In an attempt to hold onto one of its most valuable assets before the Premier League season begins, Leicester City is said to have rejected a “lowball” offer for Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

The bid, which was reportedly from Beşiktaş, a Turkish Süper Lig powerhouse, was regarded as being far less than the Foxes’ asking price for the highly rated player.

Ndidi, who is about to reach the last year of his contract, was instrumental in Leicester’s return to the top flight. Leicester is eager to either prolong his stay or negotiate a deal that takes into account his experience and market value, despite continuous rumours regarding his future.

The rejected offer was “not reflective of Ndidi’s pedigree, performance level, or importance to the team,” according to club sources, suggesting that Leicester will not back down until a better offer is made.

Clubs in France, Spain, and the Premier League have expressed interest in Ndidi because of his versatility and strong defensive skills.

The denial makes it clear that Leicester wants to stay competitive when they rejoin the Premier League and prevent seasoned players like Ndidi from being sold for low prices.
