Late Zazzau Emirate prince, others laid to rest in Zaria

The remains of Late Dan Isan Zazzau, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris, Hajiya Khadija, mother of Salanken Zazzau Dr. Bello Abdulkadir, and Mahmud Aminu Saidu, son of Ciroman Watsa Labaran Zazzau, were laid to rest after funeral prayers officiated by Alhaji Balarabe Yahya, Mukkadas Zazzau.

DAILYPOST reported that a Prince of Zazzau Emirate, Alhaji Umar Shehu Idris Dan-Isa Zazzau and two others died in a road accident along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway on Tuesday evening.

The funeral prayers, held at the Emir’s Palace in Zaria, were attended by His Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, council members and other title holders of the emirate.

Representatives of Emirs from across the country and thousands of sympathizers were in attendance at the funeral prayers.
