Real Marid have suffered a fresh injury blow following their LaLiga 2-0 win over Real Betis on Sunday.

In a statement on their website on Monday, the Los Blancos confirmed that midfielder Dani Ceballos has been diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle.

Ceballos sustained the injury during Real Madrid’s victory against Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu at the weekend.

“Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Dani Ceballos, he has been diagnosed with a grade 3 sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle.

“His progress will be monitored,” Real Madrid’s statement read.

Ceballos will hope to recover on time in order to feature for Carlo Ancelotti’s side against Real Sociedad after the international break.
