Kidnapped Anambra Lawmaker Found Dead On Second Niger Bridge

A joint security team has found the decaying body of Anambra State House of Assembly member, Justice Azuka, on the 2nd Niger Bridge.
Azuka was kidnapped on December 24, 2024, along Ugwunabankpa Road, Inland Town, Onitsha.
He was serving as the representative for Onitsha North Constituency 1 in the Anambra assembly.
Following weeks of inquiry, security agents from Abuja captured the suspects late on Wednesday.
The apprehended suspects guided officials to the site where they discarded the legislator’s remains.
Tochukwu Ikenga, the spokesman for the Anambra Police Command, announced that he will disclose information to the public shortly.
In 2022, Okey Okoye, a well-known member of the Anambra House of Assembly referred to as Okey Di Ok, was kidnapped and decapitated.
His corpse was subsequently discovered near the Nnobi axis of the state.
