Kebbi Police Present N46.6m To Deceased Officers’ Families

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello Sani, presented cheques totalling N46,672,992.75 to twenty-three families of deceased police officers in the state on Wednesday.
The financial assistance, provided under the group life assurance, IGP family welfare, and group personal accident schemes, was delivered on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
The cheques were handed over to the families on behalf of the CP by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, DCP Aminu Babale, at the Kebbi police command.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Babale said, “I urged you to use the funds wisely to address your immediate needs and invest in your families’ future, particularly in education and financial stability.”
Beyond financial support, the event was also a moment of remembrance and prayers for the fallen officers.
Babale said, “Let me, on behalf of the CP, extend our condolences and pray for the eternal rest of the departed souls and strength for their families to bear the loss.”
Muhammad Sani, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the IGP, CP Sani, and the Kebbi State Police Command.
