The Kano State Civil Service Commission has denied that employment application forms are being sold to job seekers in the state.
In a statement on Sunday, the commission’s Director of Public Enlightenment, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai, described the claim as baseless and misleading.
“The commission wishes to inform the general public that at no time has it authorised the sale of any application forms for recruitment into the State Civil Service. This claim is entirely not true and should be disregarded in its entirety,” Yakasai said.
He urged members of the public to rely only on official government channels for authentic information regarding recruitment and other commission-related activities, stressing that all announcements are released exclusively through approved platforms.
The commission reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process in every recruitment exercise.
It further warned that anyone caught perpetrating fraud under the guise of the commission would be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
“For credible and official information on the activities of the Commission, the public is advised to always follow government-approved communication channels or visit the Kano State Civil Service Commission office at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano,” the statement added.
The commission also appealed to residents to remain vigilant and avoid dealing with fraudsters who exploit unsuspecting job seekers.
