Kamala Harris reacts as shooter kills children in US catholic school
Former United States Vice President, Kamala Harris has condemned the shooting incident at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis.
It was gathered that a shooter on Wednesday fired through the windows of a church in Minneapolis, killing two children and injuring at least 17 others.
According to CNN, 14 children and three elderly parishioners were seriously injured during the incident that occurred during the first week of class.
Police reported that the shooter, who is now dead, was identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, who graduated from the same school in 2017.
Reacting, Kamala in a post on X lamented that the ugly “experience has affected far too many Americans”.
According to her, the “beginning of a new school year should be filled with excitement and anticipation but it was marred by yet another act of senseless gun violence”.
