JUST IN: Fuel Tanker Catches Fire In Lagos

Fuel Tanker Catches Fire In Lagos

A fuel tanker is currently on fire along the Epe-Ijebu Ode Expressway near the Old Toll Gate, Mojoda, Epe, Lagos State.

Details regarding casualties remain unclear at this time, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the incident, stating that efforts are underway to contain the situation.

“The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently battling a fuel tanker inferno on Epe-Ijebu Ode Expressway, by the Old Toll Gate, Mojoda, Epe, Lagos State,” Adeseye said.

“There are no vulnerable people within the scene except the tanker occupant as efforts are ongoing to bring the situation under control. Update to follows has situation demands,” she added.
