Jubril of Sudan: How Nnamdi Kanu annoyed Buhari – Adeyanju reveals
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has disclosed how the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, allegedly annoyed the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
Posting on X, the activist lawyer wrote: “Nothing annoyed the late Buhari more than that rumour started by Nnamdi Kanu that he was already dead.
“That was the reason they went all out to hunt him down in kenya and practically abducted him unconstitutionally.
“I was arrested 11 times, imprisoned thrice and almost killed in the street under Buhari but it’s nothing personal, just an ideological thing.
“May his soul truly rest in peace in Jesus’ mighty name. And may God comfort his family.”
In 2017, Buhari had spent five months in London, where he received treatment for an undisclosed illness.
During his absence, Kanu had claimed that Buhari died in London and was replaced by an impostor, Jubril of Sudan.
However, upon his return in 2018, the late former president insisted he was not dead, stating that he was not Jubril of Sudan.
