Join APC, stop using Peter Obi to score cheap points – Isaac Fayose to Adeyanju
Isaac Fayose, a brother to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, has told Activist Deji Adeyanju to be bold in declaring his support for President Bola Tinubu and his alleged move to join the All Progressives Congress, APC and stop using Peter Obi to score cheap points.
On more than one occasion, Adeyanju has used the word “fraud” against Peter Obi, saying he had valid evidence to prove the former Anambra Governor is not who he claims to be.
He had also called Obi a manipulator and religious bigot in his recent outburst against the former presidential candidate which many Nigerians believe is allegedly being sponsored by the All Progressives Congress, APC, government.
Obi has already dragged Adeyanju to court to come and provide evidence of his alleged fraudulent activities.
Speaking in a mixture of Pidgin and simple English, Fayose advised Adeyanju to come out clean about his support for the Tinubu government.
He said that Adeyanju is only following the footsteps of former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, who, according to him, gained prominence and received attention from the Tinubu administration by attacking Peter Obi.
“My brother Deji Adeyanju want go APC you dey take style dey support Tinubu government but you no fit come out openly say, ‘Oh! I don go APC or I’m supporting Tinubu,” he said in a viral social media video.
“You dey use legbegbe like Reno Omokri. Reno Omokri started by fighting Obi and later he just crossed in. Deji dey use the same style.
“Mr Adeyanju just enter directly stop using Obi to score cheap points. Common! If you’re going to APC, go freely.
“Leave that man alone. What has he done to you? He hasn’t done anything to you. You want to go to APC but you don’t know how you’ll do it because Sowore will be disappointed, your brother.
“You want to go to APC and you don’t know how you’ll do and you say, ‘If Obi is on the ballot I’ll vote Tinubu’. You think say we no know who you dey support before? Abeg cross in. Stop using legbegbe.”
