Jigawa State Police Command has urged the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement around them to the nearest security agency.

State Commissioner of Police, CP Dahiru Muhammad made the call while parading suspected criminals on Tuesday.

He said the command succeeded in arresting armed robbery suspects, motorcycle and phone snatchers, and suspected thieves that have been disturbing the public peace in Hadejia, Dutse and Roni local Governments.

He said three motorcycles, two handsets, and a knife were recovered as exhibits from the suspects.

The CP noted that the command will continue to intensify its relentless efforts towards ensuring the safety and security of lives and property across the State.

In its sustained onslaught against all forms of crime, the Command has recorded remarkable successes through coordinated intelligence-led operations, he said.

He commended the officers and men of the Command for their professionalism, resilience, and dedication to duty.

“The suspects in all cases will be charged in court upon completion of the investigation,” he added.
