Jigawa by-election: Your time is off – Lamido to APC
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate for the 2023 general election in Jigawa State, Mustapha Sule Lamido, has said the upcoming Saturday’s by-election for Garki/Babura Federal Constituency will be the decisive turning point and mark the end of the APC’s administration in Jigawa State.
Lamido stated this while addressing the party’s supporters during a grand campaign rally and presentation of the party’s flag to its candidate for the upcoming by-election held in Babura on Wednesday.
He said Nigerians have endured enough of the hardships they have been going through for over ten years since 2015 and are ready to vote the party out for peace and harmony.
According to him, “APC has been running this country for 10 years and the level of hardships Nigerians are going through is enormous. We have to vote out this administration and start from this Garki/Babura Federal Constituency by-election.”
“The ruling party is being booed and insulted as a result of the pains they inflicted on Nigerians. APC in the state and the national is dragging the country backwards.”
“By what I am seeing today (mammoth gathering) I am confident the days of APC are numbered.”
He called on the constituents to come out en masse, vote, protect, and ensure that their votes are counted.
He noted that the PDP is committed and always ready to cater to the needs, yearnings, and aspirations of the common man.
Also speaking, the PDP candidate, Auwalu Isah Manzo, promised to solve most of the problems the constituents have been facing for years of APC’s misrepresentation in the Green Chamber.
He thanked the party leadership and supporters for the opportunity and assured them he would work for the victory of the party.
