Israeli Air Force hits over 180 targets across Gaza – IDF

The Israeli Air Force has struck more than 180 targets across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces, IDF.

The targets, identified as part of ongoing military operations, reportedly included Hamas and Islamic Jihad operatives, booby-trapped buildings, tunnel shafts, weapons storage sites, and anti-tank missile launch positions.

These airstrikes are taking place alongside intensified ground operations, with five IDF divisions, comprising tens of thousands of troops, deployed throughout the Palestinian enclave.

In northern Gaza, soldiers from the 401st Armored Brigade are said to have uncovered multiple tunnel shafts and hidden weapons stockpiles believed to be used by Hamas fighters.

According to the IDF, the brigade also located a group of Hamas operatives sheltering in a building and called in a drone strike to eliminate the cell.

In a separate operation, troops from the elite Multi-Domain Unit reportedly identified Islamic Jihad operatives and likewise coordinated a drone strike on their position.

The IDF’s ongoing aerial and ground campaign is aimed at dismantling remaining militant strongholds, disrupting command infrastructure, and undermining logistical supply chains used by Palestinian armed groups.

Images from Jabalia, a northern town in the Gaza Strip, show thick plumes of smoke rising after several Israeli bombardments, evidence of the widespread destruction in areas heavily contested in the prolonged conflict.

The Israeli military has not released casualty figures for the latest operations, and there has been no immediate reaction from Hamas or Islamic Jihad.

Nevertheless, local reports suggest that urban combat and airstrikes have intensified significantly in recent days.
