Imo police commissioner commends personnel on fight against criminality
The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma has commended men and officers of the command on their efforts in fighting kidnapping and other related criminal activities.
The Police Commissioner made the commendation as he decorated ACP Oladimeji Odeyeyiwa, Commander Anti-Kidnapping Unit Owerri, following his recent promotion in recognition of his exceptional operational achievements.
CP Danjuma observed that ACP Odeyeyiwa had led impactful operations that greatly reduced kidnapping, organized crime, and terrorism, enhancing peace and security in the State.
He maintained that his courage, strategy, and ability to inspire his team earned him back-to-back Crime Buster of the Year awards in 2023 and 2024.
The event was attended by Senior Government officials, including the Chief of Staff representing the Governor and the Special Assistant on Monitoring and Compliance, alongside the Command’s management team, colleagues, friends, and well-wishers.
Danjuma emphasized that ACP Odeyeyiwa’s promotion sends a clear message to all personnel pointing out that dedication, integrity, and outstanding service are recognized and rewarded.
He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to fostering a culture where merit and hard work drive advancement within the Force.
The newly decorated officer, in his speech expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force and the Command for their trust and support.
He pledged to continue serving with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, acknowledging the vital role his family, colleagues, and community have played in his success.
