Imo CP Assures Corp Members Of Safety

The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, has assured the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Corps Members of maximum security throughout their service year.
He made the assurance during the NYSC debriefing ceremony held today, 13th May 2025, at the Orientation Camp in Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre LGA of Imo State.
According to the Command’s Spokesperson, Henry Okoye, Danjuma advised Corps Members to refrain from unauthorised travel and engaging in risky social activities, emphasising the need to prioritise their safety.
The CP also instructed all DPOs and Area Commanders to offer prompt assistance and ensure close monitoring of the areas where Corps Members are deployed.
The Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Dr Mandela Ukaegbu, who represented the Governor of the state, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to Corps Members’ welfare.
He assured them that resources would be mobilised to support their well-being and encouraged them to initiate CDS projects aimed at improving rural healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
On his part, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Evans Okwor, commended the Corps Members for their discipline and active participation during the orientation course and urged them to remain focused during their primary assignments and take full advantage of the SAED programme to enhance their skills.
