There was a mild drama between Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Tems, and a younger male fan, midway into her performance at the Lollapalooza Festival in Paris, France.

A clip from the event making the rounds on social media captured the moment Tems went to the fans’ stand and approached a male fan while performing. The 31-year-old singer then enquired from the fan about his age and she hesitated to serenade him after finding out her was 22.

Surprisingly, the young man protested and urged her to go on and serenade him, saying he prefers older women.

“It’s okay, I like older women,” he was heard saying in the video.

Tems said she was “shy” but went on to serenade the young man.

The video has created a lot of buzz online about the singer, who is a self-confessed introvert.

This is not the first time Tems is serenading a male fan during her performance. The ‘Love Me Jeje’ crooner been captured serenading several male fans at festivals this summer, a notable change from her previous style of performance.
