I don’t pay attention to them – Maresca on Chelsea players who will leave club

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has admitted he cares little about the players in the ‘bomb squad’.

Maresca has now claimed he only gets information about them from the club’s heirarchy.

The Blues are trying to offload several players this summer, as they try to trim their bloated squad.

Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are among the players who are currently training away from the main squad.

Maresca, speaking on Lesley Ugochukwu’s move to Burnley, told reporters: “I have this kind of news from the club because I don’t pay attention to the ones that are training and need to leave.

“I just focus on how we prepare the session, how we can win games.”
