How We Restored Peace To Isikwuato Constituency — Abia Lawmaker
The Lawmaker representing the good people of Isikwuato State Constituency, Hon. Lucky Johnson has explained how his constituency regained peace.
Lucky disclosed this to THE WHISTLER on Tuesday in an exclusive interview.
“Isikwuato has regained peace and insecurity has been brought under control, just as we promised during our campaign, that we would resign if we are not able to stop insecurity in Isikwuato”, He said.
The law Maker attributed the improved security to his legislative interventions, including a motion to clear roads and cash crops to enable motorists to monitor their activities.
“Remember when we said that all roads should be cleared 10 meters away and other cash crops should be given a clear view so that motorists can see when they drive”, He said.
He also thanked the Governor, His. Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti for his understanding, advice and for giving rise to the Oppression Crush in the state.
Lucky mentioned efforts to control erosion in Isikwuato, including collaboration with the Commissioner for Environment.
He noted improved compliance with corporate social responsibility among quarry sites in Isikwuato, with some companies showing commitment to revenue generation and community development.
Furthermore, the law Maker expressed pride in the growth of indigenous industries in the Southeast, citing examples such as Rosette, an indigenous car manufacturing company directly from his federal constituency Ummunnochi.
He described his relationship with his constituents as “super good” and expressed confidence in his re-election bid in 2027.
