How Arsenal Can Win Premier League Title – Raya

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has urged his teammates to show more consistency to beat Liverpool to the Premier League title.
The Gunners reduced Liverpool’s lead to four points after the 2-1 win over Tottenham on Wednesday.
Arteta’s men earned their first win in two matches after crashing out of the FA Cup and losing to Newcastle United in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final.
The Spanish shot-stopper said they need to win all their matches to stand a chance of winning their first Premier League title since 2024.
He said, “Yes, of course. In football, everything can happen.
“Three weeks ago, people were saying that Liverpool had the title in their hands. But it is just football, and everything changes in two or three matches.
“We have to focus on ourselves, try and win every game, and see where we are at the end of the season.
“We don’t want to think too far ahead because that will play badly against us. We have to live in the present; that’s the most important thing.”
Similarly, Mikel Arteta also revealed that the Gunners are now back in the Premier League title race.
He said, “We were sensational. It was a big test after two games and not getting rewarded.
“We were incredibly good in the last game against United and we ended up losing somehow.
“It’s how you respond to a situation. These boys want more. They want to be tested and questioned, and then they want to go on the pitch. We have big examples of that today, playing 72 hours after 120 minutes on Sunday.
“To play the biggest game of the season for our people, it was a test of attitude, what we are made of, and the courage we have. From minute one, we fully deserved to win the game.”
Arteta also confirmed that the club is interested in signing a striker in the January transfer window after Gabriel Jesus was ruled out of the season with a knee injury.
He said, “Yes, for sure, because we lost two big players—Bukayo, who could be out for up to three months, and then Gabby, who will be out for a long, long, long time.
“We are going to try [in this window] for sure. We are actively looking. We will try. Let’s see what we can get.”
The Gunners will return to Premier League action against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
