Former Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has congratulated Thomas Tuchel on his appointment as the new manager of England’s national football team.
Granovskaia, who worked with Tuchel at Chelsea, insisted that the German ‘knows trophies.’
Tuchel was unveiled as the Three Lions’ new manager on Wednesday.
The former Bayern Munich manager, who will replace Lee Carsley, will take up his position in January 2025.
Reacting, Granovskaia took to her Instagram and posted a picture of her with Tuchel and the Champions League trophy with a caption that read: “Thomas knows trophies. Congratulations, TT and England. World Cup 2026 just got more exciting!”
