Chief Obasi Lawson, owner of SOBAZ Oil and Gas and PETROAN’s Board of Trustees Chairman, was kidnapped in Azumini, Abia State, after gunmen ambushed his SUV on Tuesday.
The attack left his driver, Anayo Ukwu, and aide, Mazi Confidence Chijioke, dead, while three police escorts reportedly escaped.
This is after the murder of the managing director of Dozzman Petroleum Limited Port Harcourt a major player in the oil and gas industry enroute Abia State.
