Gunmen abduct university professor in Plateau

Gunmen have kidnapped Professor Musa Dankyau, a lecturer at Bingham University, Abuja, from his home in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

According to a post on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Wednesday, the incident happened on Monday night around 9:30 p.m.

The armed men stormed SA Estate, located along Guratopp Road in Jos South, and took the professor away to an unknown location.

According to the security analyst, security forces have since launched a coordinated effort to rescue the victim and arrest those responsible for the abduction.
