A dramatic scene unfolded in Port Harcourt’s Mile 3 Diobu area yesterday as operatives of the Rivers State Police Command arrested suspects at a car mechanic workshop on School Road Street, and recovered a Lexus vehicle snatched at gunpoint in Delta State.

The operation took a tense turn when police combing blackout spots clashed with a vigilante personnel on Azikiwe Street, sparking gunfire and Residents scrambled for safety amidst the chaos.
Reinforcements arrived an hour later, and the stolen vehicle was towed away. The Divisional Police Officer of Azikiwe Police Division was on the scene, overseeing the operation.

Normalcy has since returned, with passersby resuming their daily activities. The police have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
