Grayscale Secures SEC Approval for Multi-Crypto Spot ETF
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved Grayscale’s proposal to convert its Digital Large Cap Fund into a spot exchange-traded fund (ETF).
This move paves the way for everyday investors to access a basket of top cryptocurrencies through traditional stock market platforms.
The newly approved ETF will include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano (ADA), offering diversified crypto exposure in a single, regulated product.
Previously, the fund was limited to private placement investors. With this approval, it will soon be publicly tradable like a regular stock.
This development follows the SEC’s earlier approval of Grayscale’s spot Bitcoin ETF in January 2024.
However, the latest greenlight is even more significant—it broadens investor access to multiple leading crypto assets, not just Bitcoin.
