Governor Zulum makes cabinet changes, reassigns commissioners in Borno
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State has carried out a minor reshuffle of his cabinet, shortly after swearing in two newly appointed commissioners.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bukar Tijani, Mr. Tarpaya Asariya has been moved from the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism to the Ministry of Inter-Governmental Affairs and Special Duties.
The statement also revealed that Engr. Mohammed Habib has been appointed as the new Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment, while Ibrahim Hala-Hassan will now head the Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism.
“All handing and taking over formalities should take place with immediate effect,” the statement directed.
