Gov Soludo To Spend N3.2bn On Projects To Mark 3rd Anniversary
Anambra State Government is set to spend N3,233,262,178.40 on four major projects to commemorate Charles Soludo’s third year in government.
The total sum was disclosed by the state government through a press release signed by the Commissioner of Information, Dr Law Mefor, on Tuesday.
The governor’s third-anniversary celebration scheduled to take off on March 17 will feature four project investments that will cost N3.2bn.
The state plans to spend a total of N89,139,000 for the development and publication of the electronic database of revised Anambra State laws and associated services.
The government said it awarded the contract to Lextech Ecosystem Ltd.
Also, the sum of N2,193,772,108 was earmarked for the supply and installation of state-of-the-art medical equipment at the State Trauma Centre, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku Awka.
The state awarded the contract to Oxygen Healthcare Ltd.
Thirdly, the Soludo administration intends to spend N131,627,533 to supply and install security equipment in the new Government House and Governor’s Lodge, Awka, with the contract awarded to Stansol Synergy Ltd.
Zhontiang Construction Company was awarded the contract for the construction of the bumper car building, drivers’ lounge, and covered walkway at the Solution Fun City, Awka.
