Nigeria’s Flying Eagles dominated the Group stage Best X1 at the ongoing WAFU B U-20 Championship in Ghana.

Four players from the team were included in the selection compiled by the competition’s technical study group.

The four players are Ahmed Akinyele, Odinaka Okoro, Bidemi Amole, and Muhammed Abdullahi.

The Flying Eagles started the competition with a 1-1 draw against hosts Ghana.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side then thrashed neighbours Benin Republic 4-1 in their second game.

They will face Niger Republic in the semi-final on Sunday (today).

Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, and Togo have two players in the squad, while Burkina Faso have one.
